The Greenwood County Veterans Center will allow local veterans to meet with their healthcare providers virtually, free of charge. The office has a computer, printer and camera, as well as staff to assist veterans with their telehealth appointments.

Officials said the program will prevent veterans from having to travel for treatment to bigger cities nearby, saving them time and money.
