The grant will enable Sheppard Pratt subsidiary Timonium, Md.-based Mosaic Community Services to improve Baltimore area patients’ access to mental healthcare by more than doubling the number of patients who can connect with these services via telemedicine, from 600 individuals to nearly 1,800 individuals.
The $500,000 grant is part of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield’s almost $3 million investment to nine organizations working to improve healthcare access.
