The program, called Guthrie Now, connects patients with primary care and urgent care specialists via videoconference. On the app, which is available through a computer, tablet or smartphone, patients can list their symptoms to determine whether their condition — which might include flu, rashes, skin conditions or minor sprains — is appropriate for a telehealth visit.
A Guthrie Now visit costs patients $49, although some health plans may cover the service.
