The AAP Member Advantage Program connects the organization’s 66,000 pediatricians, surgeons and specialists nationwide with telehealth resources. The organization’s goal for the program is to support pediatric physician practices looking to offer virtual visits to their patients to complement in-person care.
“We hope that this program benefit will encourage more pediatricians to provide telehealth services to the families they serve within the context of their medical home,” Joshua J. Alexander, MD, chair of the AAP Section on Telehealth, said in a May 22 statement.
