Three notes:

1. The enterprise communications platform aims to help healthcare organizations streamline collaboration by connecting care team members to relevant patient information. The platform includes a contact center, clinical alert functions and care team messaging.

2. Spok created the new cloud-native platform through a collaboration with Amazon Web Services, Amazon’s cloud computing arm. Spok said the cloud-native architecture simplifies product installation and configuration, as well as bolstering information security.

3. Spok’s newest communications platform also includes a tool to help patients navigate the health system, an alarm management system for nursing workflows and a multi-device application for care-team messaging.
