South Shore signed an agreement with Epic in December. Following the agreement, the hospital has hired more than 50 people to handle the implementation and has plans to hire more. The hospital may need additional space to house the new hires.
South Shore did not release the exact price tag of its Epic implementation, but the cost is in the millions, according to the report.
