Report: Small Hospitals Seeking Large CIS Vendors

Hospitals with less than 150 beds are focusing on large hospital clinical information system vendors rather than traditional community vendors, according to a KLAS news release.

Smaller hospitals are currently considering MEDITECH, Cerner, McKesson Paragon and Epic more than traditional community CIS vendors  such as CPSI, Healthland, HMS, Keane and Siemens MedSeries4, according to a report by KLAS, a market research firm.
