Reli Group CIO promoted to CEO

Health IT consulting company the Reli Group has promoted Swami Swaminathan from CIO to CEO, according to Oct. 6 reporting in Govconwire.

Mr. Swaminathan served as CIO for five years and had been serving as acting CEO since July. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing Reli’s delivery and operations. Former CEO Mohammad Elias will leave the role to focus on his duties as president.

Mr. Swaminathan has health IT leadership experience at Northrop Grumman and spent three years on the technical review board at CMS.
