Rady Children’s partnered with Luna, a provider of on-demand physical therapy, to extend its outpatient physical therapy offerings with on-demand, home-based services, according to an April 5 press release.

With the Luna platform, patients will be matched to therapists, based on specialty, geography and schedules — allowing them to schedule a physical therapist to visit them at a chosen time and location.

Between visits, patients will also have access to the Luna platform where they can communicate with their physical therapists, perform therapist-prescribed exercises and track their recovery process.

Luna has partnerships with Atlanta-based Emory Health and San Diego-based Scripps Health.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
