The CHIME Foundation, a nonprofit division of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, connects healthcare technology vendors, service providers and consultants with top health IT leaders for networking opportunities.

Each year, the foundation recognizes a participating firm that has “made outstanding contributions and demonstrated exceptional dedication and support to the healthcare IT industry,” based on testimonials submitted by members of CHIME.

In 2018, multiple senior health IT executives submitted examples of Philips stepping up to address technological issues at their hospitals, such as replacing damaged monitors after a burst pipe and developing customized pediatric equipment for their patient population.

“Our CHIME members rely on partners in industry to deliver patient care,” said Liz Johnson, chair of the CHIME Foundation’s board and chief innovation officer of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare. “Having a partner like Philips with a mission and culture that aligns with our organizations helps us all succeed.”
