The Philips Intellispace Genomics team will share space at BioInc@NYMC, a biotechnology incubator launched by NYMC. Philips Intellispace Genomics is a healthcare informatics solution that brings together findings from silico genomic databases, clinical databases, longitudinal patient records and medical images to provide hospitals with diagnostic information to personalize care.
Philips and NYMC have partnered in recent years to collaborate on bringing these personalized insights to oncology care.
“We are excited to announce Phillips Healthcare Research as our biotech/high-tech incubator’s new anchor tenant,” said D. Douglas Miller, MD, dean of the school of medicine at NYMC, vice-provost for biomedical affairs and chief scientific officer of BioInc@NYMC. “The computational genomics collaboration between NYMC and Philips promises both research and economic benefits.”
