Pharmaceutical market and communications company gets private-equity backing

Astorg, a private equity company, has acquired Open Health, a pharmaceutical market access and scientific communication services company.

Open Health previously had a partnership with Amulet Capital Partners. Astorg made the acquisition of Open Health with Amulet Capital Partners, according to a July 18 news release.

“We are eager to work with the Astorg team as we continue expanding our capabilities and product offerings to deliver best-in-class scientific communication services to our customers,” Rob Barker, CEO of Open Health, said in the release.

Open Health was founded in 2011 and provides scientific communications, health economics and outcomes research for more than 170 customers.
