The company, which was founded in 2012, plans to use the new funds to capitalize on potential clients and expand its technology’s capabilities. The company built a database based on millions of patient pain claims and outcomes, and its solution offers a customized roadmap to healthcare providers to enhance pain treatments.
axialHealthcare participated in Healthbox, the health-tech accelerator that ran in 2013. It now employs 50 people and works with around six large insurer clients.
Oak HC/FT, a health care services investment firm, led the funding round, according to the report.
