New HIT Toolkit Targets Rural Health Providers

The Rural Assistance Center and the National Rural Health Reference Center have designed an online toolkit to help rural providers locate resources on HIT-related topics, according to a Rural Assistance Center news release.

The toolkit provides resources to guide rural communities in the planning, setup, implementation and operation of HIT infrastructure. The toolkit will also assist rural communities to address challenges in capital funding, stay informed about EHR legislation and leverage federal resources for project development.
