Orange Care Group ACOs, Memorial Healthcare System collaborate to deploy Epic’s Healthy Planet

Miami-based Orange Care Group’s ACOs and independent physician association will join forces with Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System to deploy Epic’s Healthy Planet platform.

Epic’s Healthy Planet, the vendor’s population health platform, will help Orange Care Group’s practices collaborate on care throughout its value-based contracts in south Florida, New York and New Jersey. Orange Care Group and Memorial Healthcare System providers will be able to gather patient information across multiple data sources and access better decision support.

Orange Care Group is the first independent healthcare organizations in the U.S. to share Epic’s Healthy Planet platform with a major health system, Orange Care Group officials said.
