According to the report, the video game — geared toward medical practices with limited health IT experience — features characters acting out health data privacy and security scenarios and prompts players to choose actions to address the situation.
ONC unveiled the free video game as part of National Health IT Week, which is Sept. 10 to Sept. 14. According to one of ONC’s privacy and security professionals, Laura Ross, the game will be available Wednesday on ONC’s HealthIT.gov website.
