The ONC leadership page notes Ms. Morris is a “subject matter expert” in interoperability, Meaningful Use and the Quality Payment Program. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Morris served as the senior director for health IT policy at the Baltimore-based health IT and policy company Audacious Inquiry, according to her LinkedIn page.
Ms. Morris previously worked with the ONC to develop various health IT policies and standards. Her work supported the State Health Information Exchange Program, the Shared Nationwide Interoperability Roadmap and the Health IT Framework for Alternative Payment Models.
Ms. Morris holds a bachelor of science in history education from Dunbar, Wis.-based Northland International University and a master of arts in political science from Philadelphia-based Temple University.
