The first facility to implement the exchange is Newark (N.J.) Beth Israel Medical Center, which provided clinicians and neighboring federally qualified health centers web-based access to integrated patient information.
The HIE also rolled out other interoperable services, including access to New Jersey Medicaid’s medication histories; an interface to the state immunization system; and lab and radiology results from the NBI emergency departments.
