Navicent Health, Mercer University to create Center for Disruption & Innovation

Navicent Health and Mercer University, both based in Macon, Ga., are jointly launching the Center for Disruption & Innovation, a space for collaboration among healthcare thought leaders to foster innovation.

Projects in the Center for Disruption & Innovation will be centered on applied clinical research, appropriate utilization and cost, consumer-driven healthcare, service delivery, improved efficiency and technological benefits, among others.

"At Navicent Health, our desire is to lead the industry through innovation and research. Through the Center for Disruption & Innovation, we will connect the brightest minds in healthcare and engineering to collaborate on projects that will enhance service delivery, efficiency and technology," said Ninfa Saunders, DHA, president and CEO of Navicent Health.
