Movers and shakers: 4 latest leadership changes affecting health IT

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following health IT executive moves recently affecting hospitals, companies and federal agencies:

1. Three veterans of Apple’s industrial design team, Rico Zorkendorfer, Daniele De Iuliis and Julian Hönig, who collectively have more than 45 years of experience at the technology giant, have recently chosen to leave the company.

2. The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society named Sebastian Krolop, MD, PhD, its new chief operating and strategy officer.

3. Julie Wilson, chief people officer of Cerner, is retiring, effective June 30.

4. Winstom Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health’s Hank Capps, MD, senior vice president and chief digital health and engagement officer, and Stephanie Landry, senior director of digital health and engagement, will lead the health system’s new digital health and engagement division.
