Montana urology clinic reports possible data breach following break-in

Kalispell, Mont.-based Urology Associates has begun to notify thousands of patients of a potential data breach following a break-in at the firm’s storage unit, which they became aware of May 26.

Clinical officials have not reported any files stolen or missing, but sensitive medical information may have been accessed, as reported by The Daily Inter Lake. The firm is offering patients one year of free precautionary credit monitoring.
