MMRGlobal to sell patient samples and data to analytics company as vaccine trial continues

MMRGlobal, a personal health records company and electronic records management system provider, is in talks to sell patient samples and data to two biotech companies.

The company will continue with talks to sell 2,000 patients' data to biotech companies to further research into a vaccine it has been developing since 2010. The announcement comes in the wake of the company being awarded a second U.S. patent for Favld, a vaccine to treat lymphoma and other cancers, in addition to patents in Australia, Mexico and South Korea, according to CNN MarketWired.

MMRGlobal also owns health IT patents and personal health records in 12 countries, including the U.S. Favld is the company's first clinical trial series, into which it has invested more than $100 million, according to CNN MarketWired.
