MedeAnalytics, a healthcare analytics solutions provider, named Cindi Carter chief security officer.
Four notes:
1. Ms. Carter was previously deputy chief information security officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Mo.).
2. She has 15-plus years of experience leading strategic technology initiatives.
3. She holds a master of science degree in IT from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.
4. In her new role, Ms. Carter will be responsible for global enterprise security as well as encouraging a culture of accountability.
