Maryland online exchange names new CIO

The Maryland Health Benefit Exchange has named Subramanian Muniasamy as CIO, according to a Baltimore Business Journal report.

Mr. Muniasamy will oversee ongoing maintenance and operations of the exchange. He previously helped rebuild the exchange as a project manager with Deloitte. As project manager, Mr. Muniasamy worked to overhaul the previous system in seven months.

Mr. Muniasamy assumed his new duties Jan. 7.
