A hospital in Ontario, Canada, plans to adopt MEDITECH's latest web-based EHR platform.
Markham Stouffville Hospital has been a MEDITECH customer for more than 25 years and plans to upgrade to the latest EHR in February 2017.
Markham Stouffville is a 265-bed community hospital that achieved stage 6 on HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model in 2014.
"We want to be a partner for providing healthcare in the area," Lewis Hooper, CIO of MSH, said in a statement. "As we move forward with MEDITECH's Web EHR, MSH is also excited about enhancements in critical care, surgical services and patient and consumer health portal solutions."
