Magruder Hospital to use CommonWell services to boost interoperability

Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio, has selected CommonWell Health Alliance’s services, which will offer healthcare providers access to patient medical records from outside healthcare organizations that also participate in CommonWell.

The services are expected to go live in July.

“Magruder Hospital is committed to providing treatment to people beyond the walls of the hospital,” said Chuck Dellick, Magruder Hospital’s director of information technology. “Signing up to use CommonWell services was an easy decision for us, since their approach to interoperability will help us connect to important patient information that happens outside of the hospital walls.”
