LeAnna Fries. Administrative Director of Informatics Education and Engagement at Stanford (Calif.) Health Care. During her time at Stanford, Ms. Fries has been committed to her mission of driving physician adoption, engagement, and optimization through education. Ms. Fries spearheads a targeted provider optimization program and oversees training strategy for clinical transformation and enterprise expansion. Through her dedicated community service, she was awarded the “C-I-CARE Service Spotlight Award” by the CEO in 2016. Before joining Stanford, she worked in leadership positions at Dignity Health, Providence Health & Services and volunteered for the U.S. Peace Corps as a health education lead. She was also the CEO and co-founder of EnableMD, an HIT technology consulting group offering services to providers to ease EHR transitions in ambulatory and acute care settings. Ms. Fries continues to champion women’s engagement in healthcare IT.
