Inova Health System, Children’s National Consider Partnership for Pediatrics

Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., are in talks to create a partnership for specialty pediatric programs and research, according to a Washington Business Journal report.

The partnership may bring Children’s National specialists close to Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church. The collaboration would likely focus on complex pediatric specialties such as gastroenterology or neurosurgery, in which Children’s National has research programs, according to the report.
