Here are three new healthcare innovation hubs being built:

New York City-based Weill Cornell Medicine is partnering with healthcare artificial intelligence company Hatchleaf to use machine learning and AI to match patients with providers.

Forty-two hospitals and health systems have signed on to a new $50 million innovation initiative from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, which was created by the ACA in 2010.

The North Shore Health Care Foundation is dedicating $57,000 to purchase simulation training technology for Grand Marais, Minn.-based North Shore Health. 

Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic plans to start building a 120-acre innovation hub soon at its Arizona campus, the Phoenix Business Journal reported.

Hospitals and health systems such as Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic are using artificial intelligence and machine learning to help aid them in reaching a diagnosis, often earlier than they otherwise would, The Wall Street Journal reported Feb. 28.
