Nashville Biosciences, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center, is collaborating with Standigm, a company that uses artificial intelligence for drug discovery and development, to customize AI models for drug discovery.

New York City-based Mount Sinai Hospital is using a series of artificial intelligence-based algorithms to generate a score that predicts patient risk, The Washington Post reported Aug. 10.

As funding for healthcare artificial intelligence funding cools down in 2023, hospital leaders are targeting vendors that can be easily integrated within their system's infrastructure.
