Digital engagement startup Rx.Health will integrate artificial intelligence-powered digital assistant Suki into its new digital therapeutics toolkit to address physician burnout, the companies announced Dec. 9.

The physician wellness-focused toolkit is a first for Rx.Health, a spinout of New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System that has focused primarily on developing a platform that allows digital therapeutics and care plans to be prescribed to patients directly from EHR systems.

The new toolkit will be similar to Rx.Health’s patient-facing offerings, providing clinicians with access to health content, educational materials and digital solutions such as the Suki AI voice assistant to streamline their workflows and reduce administrative burden.

“There is a huge unmet need to screen and address burnout not only among physicians but among all care providers, and digital medicine can bring scalability to the solution,” Ashish Atreja, MD, chief innovation officer of Mount Sinai and chief strategy officer of Rx.Health, said in the announcement. “Since the reasons for burnout are multifactorial, we felt a comprehensive toolkit approach that combines best-of-class digital therapeutics and AI solutions under one umbrella will be the best enterprisewide approach.”
