Starting in 2010, podiatry, orthopedics and general surgery services will move to the six-story, 175,000 square-foot building. The second phase of the move, expected to begin in 2011, will include gastrointestinal services, urology, an ambulatory surgery center and an outpatient procedures suite, according to the report.
The Zion facility is expected to undergo extensive renovations over the next six to eight years, according to Kaiser Permanente officials.
