Robin’s flagship product, Robin Assistant, is an artificial intelligence-powered medical scribe that uploads clinician notes to the EHR. The company plans to use the loan for working capital, according to an Oct. 24 Horizon Technology Finance news release.

The company said $7 million of the $17 million loan has been initially funded.

“Robin is transforming how doctors practice medicine and interact with patients,” Horizon President Gerald Michaud said. “Thanks to the Robin Assistant, doctors are seamlessly recording accurate information, enabling doctors to save valuable time previously spent on manually inputting data.”
