The institute will initially have three centers: the Center for Healthcare Re-engineering, the Center for Emerging Technology and Informatics and the Center for Clinical Innovation.
GIAA will work with experts in areas such as clinical, research, engineering, innovation, technology, data, informatics, mobile/telehealth, health insurance, strategy, business and finance to develop healthcare solutions. The institute will also work with Geisinger’s xG Health Solutions, a company launched in February to share and commercialize the health system’s intellectual property.
