The tool can integrate with existing EHR systems and is designed to reduce administrative burdens. The tool remains in compliance with all federal and CMS regulations, according to the Sept. 13 Edifecs news release.

“Prior authorization is one of the biggest challenges providers face today, causing tension and abrasion between providers and payers,” CEO of Edifecs Venkat Kavarthapu said. “Additionally, when patients are forced to postpone medical procedures to wait for insurance approval, the repercussions on patients’ health can be irreversible. We’re thrilled to introduce a next-generation solution that streamlines this process to ensure patients get the care they need when they need it.”

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
