AdventHealth Castle Rock (Colo.) has launched a virtual nursing model aimed at streamlining inpatient admissions and enhancing bedside care.

The virtual admit nursing program, now live, is a nursing-led model wherein trained virtual nurses complete or assist with inpatient admissions, according to a Jan. 28 news release. The model allows bedside nurses to focus on direct patient care rather than documentation and intake processes. It supports admissions from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

AdventHealth Castle Rock is the pilot site for both AdventHealth’s Rocky Mountain Region and the broader system. The initiative was made possible by the hospital’s implementation of smart-room technology in September 2025.
