Independent Health to Offer Telemedicine Services

Williamsville, N.Y.-based Independent Health is planning on offering telemedicine services to its members beginning in 2015, according to a Buffalo Business First report.

The insurer plans to offer telemedicine services for a $10 co-pay to individual members. A nationwide network of physicians will render the telemedicine services, though Independent Health has not yet determined which provider will oversee the network, according to the report.
