IASIS Healthcare to implement Cerner's EHR, RCM solutions

IASIS Healthcare, a Franklin, Tenn.-based owner and operator of acute care hospitals, has selected Cerner's EHR and revenue cycle management system for implementation across its provider operations.

IASIS Healthcare owns and operates 16 acute care hospitals and one behavioral health hospital. The company's providers service more than 1.1 million patients each year.

"We chose Cerner because we believe they provide a system that will enhance our efforts to provide high quality, cost-effective health care for our patients and health plan members," said W. Carl Whitmer, president and CEO of IASIS.
