Twenty-six percent of tech C-suite leaders have trouble defining clear responsibilities for their positions, Deloitte found.
Here’s how four C-suite tech leaders define their roles and responsibilities for the year ahead, according to the consultant’s survey of over 600 U.S. leaders published June 17:
1. CIO: Harnessing the full potential of data, analytics, and AI and machine learning (plus generative AI).
2. Chief technology officer: Designing technology solutions and platforms with security, regulatory and compliance requirements at the core.
3. Chief data and analytics officer: Attracting, developing and retaining data analytics, and AI talent and skills to build an AI-ready workforce.
4. Chief information security officer: Balancing security and efficiency while building enterprise cyber resilience and driving customer trust by fostering transparency in privacy and data governance.
