House subpoenas former Healthcare.gov official

Rep. Lamar Smith, (R-Texas), chairman of the Science, Space and Technology committee has issued a subpoena to former U.S. CTO Todd Park regarding the botched HealthCare.gov rollout last November.

The subpoena requires Mr. Park to appear before the subcommittee on oversight to discuss his role in developing and evaluating the operations and security of the website.

Mr. Park was a top assistant to President Barack Obama when the online marketplace was launched.

Mr. Park’s testimony will take place Nov. 19.
