The HIMSS Innovation Center will include an “IT ecosystem,” an environment populated with simulated patient demographics, clinical and financial data, where healthcare communities will be able to test and demonstrate a specific product’s interoperability capabilities.
It will also provide services for health delivery and health IT companies, along with exhibitions, educational programming and consumer-oriented applications.
The center is scheduled to open in October.
