High fashion meets health tech: Gucci partners with weable company

Health tech company Oura, which manufactures a health and fitness tracking wearable ring, has partnered with high-fashion brand Gucci, Business of Fashion reported May 26.

The Oura x Gucci ring is being sold for $950 and carries the Gucci logo in 18K gold and tracks the heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature and sleep patterns of the user. The ring is available on the Gucci website and in some stores. 

Oura had previously pushed to make its wearables appealing to high-fashion users, with a 2020 limited edition yellow gold band selling for $399.
