The framework will also help identify gaps in an ACO’s IT infrastructure that could prevent the organization from meeting its goals.
CCHIT plans to publish the framework so organizations across the country can learn from it as they develop ACOs.
Once developed, the framework may serve as the basis of a CCHIT certification program for ACOs.
