MDClone surveyed more than 30 healthcare leaders and found the following:
- Ninety-six percent of respondents said they expect to increase their data-driven projects in the next three years, but the survey said most healthcare organizations are not prepared for this.
- Only 36 percent of respondents said they have the allocated budget for quality and performance improvement.
- Eighty percent of respondents said they don’t have enough analyst resources to meet demand for knowledge work in performance improvement.
- Fifty-eight percent of respondents said improvement projects take an average of six months or longer to complete.
