Healthcare IT leader to know: Zan Calhoun of DaVita HealthCare Partners

Zan Calhoun, MBA, is the CIO of DaVita HealthCare Partners and HealthCare Partners. Mr. Calhoun has more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

In 2004, Mr. Calhoun co-founded First Consulting Group and served as its CEO for 11 years. His previous experience also includes serving as a partner of Ernst & Young, where he focused on healthcare consulting and worked as national director of the managed care group.

Mr. Calhoun has led a number of healthcare information systems workshops at the University of California Los Angeles, California State University Long Beach and Harvard University in Cambridge, Ma. He completed his MBA at the California State University in Long Beach.
