The marketplace is designed to connect clinicians with laboratories and radiology centers. In the expanded marketplace, providers, skilled nursing facilities, physical therapy, sleep centers, home health, urgent care centers and surgical care centers can partner. In addition, physicians can order tests and receive results on Health Gorilla’s mobile platform and communicate with team members and patients even when out of the office.

Once a provider receives tests results, he or she can send them to patients or care teams over HIPAA-compliant messaging. Health Gorilla offers connections with more than 9,000 diagnostic labs and 35,000 radiology centers, according to a release.
