Harris Computer Systems acquired Uniphy Health through its healthcare group Harris Healthcare. Harris will add the startup’s mobile and desktop applications to its clinical informatics solutions. Uniphy Health’s platform can integrate with EHR systems, and it can be tailored to health systems’ and physicians’ needs. The app can support functions including secure messaging, referrals and group announcements.
Uniphy Health’s platform has been used by more than 90,000 clinicians at health systems including Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health and UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Harris Computer Systems specializes in computer software design for the healthcare industry and the public and private sectors.
