The health system partnered with Boston-based telemedicine company American Well to develop the platform, which will be available through smartphones, tablets and online video beginning in the first quarter of this year.
“Telehealth represents a new frontier in medicine — virtually connecting patients directly with providers in real-time. ConvenientCare Now by Hackensack University Health Network is more convenient, affordable and efficient for patients,” said Robert Garrett, president and CEO of Hackensack University Health Network.
