Four notes:
1. Google first unveiled its plans for the platform in July 2018.
2. Built on open application programming interfaces, the platform aims to allow users to “modernize … applications at your own pace,” according to the the blog post.
3. CSP also offers customers access to Google Kubernetes Engine, a service that allows customers to manage Docker containers on their existing data center infrastructure.
4. Google has been building out its cloud migration capabilities in recent months, and recently announced plans to acquire Alooma, a data migration company, to provide customers a more streamlined and automated migration experience to its cloud platform.
