Gartner released a report, titled “Cool Vendors in Blockchain Applications,” May 4, according to a company blog post.

Here are the five blockchain companies Gartner said are changing digital business.

1. Factom, a distributed recordkeeping platform

2. Gnosis, a decentralized platform to manage prediction markets

3. OpenBazaar, a decentralized peer-to-peer retail marketplace

4. SmartContract, a platform that self-executes contracts

5. Synero, a platform that enables content creators to monetize their work
